Name |
The Ipswich Table |
Details | Inspired by the design of a 17th century table with trestle supports, originally seen at a museum in Ipswich, this stunning light oak table at approximately 7ft x 38ins x 31ins high (214cm x 96cm x 79cm) is a rare piece indeed. Like the original, the underside of the top is chamfered to make it appear thinner than it actually is. It is unlikely the current asking price would buy the oak if made today. |
